I use VUE based concept mapping to represent the curriculum when designing visual gateways to online learning resources.

The JISC eTutor project is using a discovery learning pedagogic approach for online distance learners. A competence map has been created using the VUE application with nodes linked to customised and user-refinable search engines designed to home in on relevant learning resources.

Hiya Tony - nice to hear from u! G'Day from Sydney!!! This sounds really interesting.

It was Philip Long at the Ascilite conference who pointed me to this - he described it

as a visual tool + repository and there seemed to be similarities to CompendiumLD

and Cloudworks. Haven't had the change to explore it yet. How do you find it?
