'The Networked Practitioner' is module H818 of the OU Masters in Online and Distance Education (MA ODE)

The H818 'The Networked Practitioner' online module is part of the MA Online and Distance Education programme run by the Institute of Educational Technology (IET) at the Open University. This online conference is presented using OULive (the OU synchronous discussion platform - a bespoke version of Blackboard Collaborate).
 
Each H818 student will contribute a short presentation to the conference and there will also be keynote presentations from:
  • Gráinne Conole, Professor of Education at the University of Bath Spa, UK.
  • Allison Littlejohn, Professor of Technology Enhanced Learning at the Open University, UK.
  • Martin Weller, Professor of Educational technology at the Open University, UK.
 

The conference sessions will be held in OU Live in February 2015 (times given are UK time i.e. GMT):

  • Sat 7th Feb 13.00 - 17.00 (Keynote: Prof. Gráinne Conole)
  • Mon 9th Feb 09.00 - 13.00 (Keynote: Prof. Allison Littlejohn)
  • Wed 11th Feb 18.00 - 22.00 (Keynote: Prof. Martin Weller)

The draft programme is included below - it will be update as more details are confirmed. You may of course join us for a full session (or more) or just dip in to see the presentations that catch your eye - it is entirely up to you.

Interaction. Students will select content which they are happy to be open to a more public audience and make it available on this site, or linked from this site. If you have any questions you would like any of the speakers to answer, please add them to the relevant Cloud for their session when the Clouds begin to appear - the questions will be picked up and put to speakers following their presentation.
